I have had a platinum clownfish for over a year now her mate died. I replaced it with a black ice clown about 5-6 months ago. I made sure to get a smaller one that the established platinum. Im starting to think that I have 2 females. They are never together in my tank which is 20g unless its feeding time. The platinum stays in the anemone and the other in the top corner. But recently the black ice has been trying to get into the carpet but the platinum won't let it. Iv had clowns before but normally they pair up by this time.

Clowns all have their own personality. The female is just taking her time. I very much doubt you have 2 females. If you had 2 females in a 20g, you would have 1 female and one corpse.
