This all started after the maroons gave my 29 gal. ich, I got the reef safe ich treatment and started that. The maroons died the day after I got them (yes I know I need to QT them first, lesson learned) so I replaced them with a pair of black saddleback clowns. The clowns have already gone through a cycle of ich, and personally I am contacting the company that makes the reef safe kick-ich because it doesn't work at all. I have been feeding with garlic, and raised the tank temp. and have just been topping off with RO to lower the salinity a bit. But now I think that the only way to get rid of it is it QT all the fish and let the tank run course.
*update this morning
My female is breathing really heavy and has a white coat all over her. I am going to start a QT tank this morning, but what should I medicate her with? And can I even save her at this point?
