Clown trigger and a eel?

I know clown triggers can go rouge and kill other fish but would it recognize a eel as a threat and kill it as well or can they get along? I know my huma huma would nip my zebra morays tail from time to time. Any thoughts? Not a plan of mine just curious.

I figured as much. It's really too bad. The clown trigger is an amazing fish other then the fact it's a jerk.

I agree with huma. I've seen it tried, and who wins depends mostly on the size and time of day.

That too. I mentioned time of day because I've seen a few times where the eel has made a move while the trigger is asleep, wedged in a rock.

yeah, never underestimate the power of an eel in the middle of the night..they can/will snatch and kill or seriously injure even a very large sleeping trigger...
