Clown trigger to reef tank?

Hello, i want to get a Clown Trigger for my reef tank, i have some clowns, yellow tang, hippo tang, some damels, 2 puffers, some anomies(Sp?), mushrooms, 3 star fish, snals, and blue crabs. the corals i have is small patch of zolana.(spelling?). Any thoughts on adding one?

He will eat the Clowns and the Damsels. he will eat the anemone, the starfish (I think), and all crabs and snails. They will eat any small fish and all inverys basically. Oh, and he will nip and kill all of your corals. HTH!

so a fish only tank is suggested with this tank. If i get the clown when is much smaller than the rest of the fish, will that matter?

not only fowlr.... an agressive tank.. so basically you would have to redo your tank and sell everything but the rock to keep that fish...

It will give you slightly more time before he kills the rest of the tank.

Yes, it is one very ornery fish. It will also rearrange rock work when it feels like doing so. I have seen them go nuts in a feeding frenzy and attempt to nail any hands that are within eating distance. On the other hand, they are beautfiul and have a great if bellicose personality.

Like everyone has said its a bad idea and if its for your 120 another bad idea. You can get them really really small but they grow up quick... I say atleast 8ft tank for one...
