I am almost thinking eggs....let us know if the bulge dissapears in the next day or two, or if she starts showing signs of sickness. This could either be really good or really bad...

i was thinking babies too, but it's odd that the large one is not the dominant and went female on me isn't it?

Typically, if you add a small clown to a tank that already has a larger clown in it, it is usually not even something worth fighting over. The smaller clown knows his place and becomes a male, it can happen pretty quickly...

The larger clownfish is the dominant one and the dominant clownfish is the female. In clownfish the female is larger and dominant.

oh! i had the dominant thing backwards then! oops! well it did happen fast then, because they have only been together for 3 weeks! i'm hoping for babies but we'll see what happens!

We got our clownfish second hand and they were about the same size but within a few weeks their sizes really started to change. If you think about it, in finding Nemo, when Coral dies, Marlin would change into a female! Our clownfish are called Marlin and Nemo, except with Marlin being the bigger one, I often call her Marlina!
