I have had an ocellaris clownfish for about a month now, he's been eating fine and acting normal. Last Sunday, I got another clownfish that is slightly smaller, hoping to pair them up eventually. When I put them together, they fought a little and the smaller one did the "twitch", just as I expected he would. After a few days, they settled down and stopped fighting and were both acting fine. Then yesterday, I noticed the new one staying the the same part of the tank all day long- right in front of a piece of LR, and somtimes tilting sideways while hovering here. I thought- Oh, I bet he is trying to host that and was attempting to brush against the gravel. Today, he doesn't look too good. He's swimming about an inch above the gravel in a different part of the tank, but with his head poointed down at about a 45º angle. He is breathing very rapidly. The older one is acting fine, although he did "twitch" a couple of times and it was not like when they were fighting for dominance. The older one is also pooping and it's white, long and stringy. Parasites? The only thing I did differently is yesterday I added some calcium. Other than that, I've done everything the same. I tested the water today, 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites. Any ideas?
