Clown with white stringy poop

I assume one of my wild caught perculas has intestinal parisites.

I have had them for 3 weeks. They showed no sign of any ailments until the one had white stringy poop trailing behind her about an hour after feeding today. Neither shows any other signs of distress. No labored breathing, or loss of apatite. perams:

pH 8.24-8.33 (pinpoint monitor)
Alk 10 dKH
Calc 430
Mag 1350
Salinity 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
fuge w/cheato

Metronidazole Tablets and Maracyn-Two, are on the way. I plan to treat the fish in a separate tank.

I would like to confirm that I'm taking the proper action, and if anyone has other suggestions please let me know.

Sounds like brook, look up treatments in the disease forum, those you listed will most likely not work too well. Formalin dips and copper treatments are the most common treatment. better hurray cause it kills fast.
good luck

I don't think it's brook. This is the only symptom, and they are eating well, swimming well, breathing normally, and not spending time near the top of the tank.

Funny thing is, I have a clown with the exact same problem. it is hiding in my frogspawn. I noticed it 3 months ago, but not sure exactly what to do either. I don't think they getting him out is an option because he is in my 150 gal tank. I would try catching him at night, but I have the tank at work and by the time i get there he is already awake. Well i'd really like to know what happens to your fish after you've treated it. Keep me posted and I'll keep you posted with my clown.
