And I will also be getting the rainbow acan (8 heads) on Wednesday! I have them on hold at my LFS and I just couldn't believe they had one there. I almost bought one online but the price was really high, I'm glad they had theis for an even lower price.

Question: I noticed that my rainbow torch corals tentacles have turned white, what could be the cause of that? They are still extended and I have not changed lighting.

Hi! Love your setup, you did much better than me on the BioCube =)
So I see you brought up upgrading the lighting to TrueLumen. I did that at first. I had two installed, but left this one for the back and may try to focus SPS there.

Obviously I gutted the top, and there is no going back. What was great, is the other LED strip on that was on the top fit PERFECTLLY in the existing screw holes; go figure!


However, I purchased the Orbit Marine LED from the same company (18"-24" model 4100), just to get the (at the time) brand new Ramp Timer Pro. I was going to sell the LED to a guy at work, but then I figured this out:

IT FITS PERFECTLY, and you can close the lid!! Highly recommended! With the Ramp Timer Pro, you do cool things like lightning effects =)

You would need the orbit pro if you wanted to even think about SPS. Base orbit marine is ok for LPS and zoas though.

He's hanging on, I think the color is coming back but very slowly.
I got some frogspawn today from a member here and was supposed to get some rainbow acans but I got the wrong thing lol! I got some zoas instead. Have to wait till next week to get the acans

Update: rainbow torch coral did not make it :sad1: but the other is doing really well fish are all happy and fat and swimming everywhere! I will also be posting pics Tuesday and Wednesday showing my new pieces

Nothing short of being in the hospital will break me away from work that weekend. We're catering a wedding wich happens to be a sit down dinner for 350 people. I see 20 hour work days coming that weekend.
