clownfish answers please

Ok to start off i am a noob and was wondering if i get a pair of percula clowns one will turn female, but will they mate?

Most of the time, yes.

Usually not unless you have them (the clownfish) in a tank away from other fish. The fry (baby clownfish) also command live planktonic foods, such as rotifiers, copepods, amiphods and others. Fautin and Allen have some good books on clownfish and breeding them.

You could buy "pre-paired" clowns from the LFS.
