Clownfish Behavior

About 3 or 4 weeks ago I purchased two True Percula Clownfish (tank raised). The question I have is that my clowns (the only fish in the tank) stay near the top rear of the tank and rarely come to the front and never swim to the bottom whether its in the front or back.

Is this normal behavior? My water was tested at the store just to make sure and all was good ie. Ammonia 0 ppm/Nitrite 0 ppm/Nitrate 10 ppm./Salinity 1.023 ppm (with refractometer)

Not sure if it is "normal" - but I can report the same from mine. He/she is truly a middle of the tank and up fish. 90% of the time he is either hosting the back wall or the intake (bio-cube). He will come to the front and center very quickly though when he sees me with the food.
