Take a breath and slow down. If you have experience breeding freshwater then you know about water quality so will not go there. The best thing is to do reasearch like on the forums here. If at all possible spend the most you can afford. Do not rush, you probably will want to but dont.

Wifi is right. Salt is a lot different than fresh. it is a lot more involved. One thing you got going is that you have a friend that already has experience. You will need to learn the salt part before you will have success with breeding clowns. Good luck.

Read everything you can find then read some more. There are quite a few good detailed threads out there by some accomplished breeders, the good ones are quite long so you'll have some reading material for some time. After you've read everything you can find and your clowns finally start breeding for you it'll take some trial and error before you get the hang of it. I'm currently breeding picassos and snow/onyx with a couple more pairs that aren't laying yet. I have a thread about it in my local forum if you want to look it up.
