Clownfish breeding

Hello!

I'm looking to start breeding clown fish but have a few questions!

The male and the female are fighting over who should be female and who must be male, I have heard when they have done so to move them to another Aquarium, then? How big should it be? What is interior design? If there are any days left to move the eggs to an aquarium for kids? How large must a be what should we have for decor? What's eating them at the beginning?

They sell extremely detailed books about this. there is a quite a bit to it, though once you have it, you have it. Perhaps you can find someone here that will take the time to type it all out. I say, go buy a book. they are better than then typos anywya.

but fwiw, you can do it in buckets to tanks to garbage cans--name it, with flowerpots as hiding and easily removable tiles for the clowns to lay eggs on.

fry need rotifers, copepods, then baby brine. If you get them past 2 weeks (i think that is the general rule of thumb), they will likely make it.

but there are endless ways to do what you are asking about. and there are potentially ways to set up a series of tanks so you could show kids each cycle of life from egg to mating all in sinc, with each stage of life visible all at the same time.

Hello again!

How do I find the "right" the male and the female when there are 4 clowns in a tank battle all four then right makes them to determine who will be the male and the female, and that can have babies? Or how do you know what you should write in the breeding Aquarium, which will continue as usual?

When they have had children, should I put them back in the usual Aquarium? Or should they stay in the breeding Aquarium full time?

I suggest the book clownfishes by joyce wilkerson. Great book that helped me get started.

+1.

You should read posts in this forum as well:

Most, if not all, of your questions can be answered in that forum (and actually should be posted there instead of this one.)

Also, there are tons of websites discussing the basics, no need take up a thread here:

Once you get started you'll quickly find that it's a lot of fun, while challenging, but definitely worth it IMO.
