CLOWNFISH help please!!

The fighting has slowed down now because I guess the dominance has been claimed now by the one that is still in the anemone?

Yes . most of the time its how it works.. Wait until she starts drawing blood from you . Clown fish are Terrorist

Glad they are COOLING OFF.. They do seem like they are killing each other my female pushes him around at random times just to keep him in check..

I have two tiny Ocellaris clowns, and no anemone. Thus far they are clam and peaceful, but they are clearly juveniles.

The comment about drawing blood made me wonder, do they generally still act that territorial when there is no anemone?

It's got nothing to do with the anemone. They pick a territory and defend. Mine swoop at and bite me every time I have a hand in the tank. They also attack the things I place in the tank like corals for a few minutes.

My Clowns attack and knock snails and crabs off the rock work anywhere near there Coral... Its funny watching them trying to attack my LARGE TURBO Snail .its the size of a golf ball .

I strike fear into my clowns early on (they bite me I catch them). I put my hand in my tank and they hide.
I have one who's a food thief. Bullies and steals the food from the trigger, the butterfly, anyone it can. It also herds the other fish into their designated spots in the tank and they are not allowed out of their corners unless she gives permission. I have her so well trained when she starts being a jerk I just point at her and she runs and hides in her hairy mushroom clump.

My Clown would just bite your finger.. I have hard her attacking my finger and flick her half way across the tank she just comes back even more mad.. She would be easy to catch with my hand just let her bite me and grab her..
She is almost 5 inches long and is now in my Coral grow out tank with her slave.. oops her mate....

That's funny stuff right there! lol

Yeah, my first thought was if the fish bites me it's getting flicked in the face. Bites me again...it's getting a volitans lion as a tank mate next. :-) (Not really, but I'd think about it)
