Clownfish Help

Ok so I have two BW Ocellaris clowns. They are different sizes like suggested when buying two. They were cool together for a couple days but then started fighting. The fighting intensified and intensified. I read up on them and read that when pairing they will fight and to show submission will have epileptic seizure type things which both of them would do so I thought no big deal. Today though I get home and the smaller one is in the corner between the glass and my filter intake straight up and down. I notice he has small rips in some of his fins. The bigger one still hangs around him and attacks occasionally. Do I have two females or is the pairing process just peaking. Any advice would be appreciated.

sounds like a big territory issue. what size tank? the 70 cube? Pairing should cause such damage. Sounds like you may have to inter vein. separate them allow the one to heal and then try to reintroduce after the aggressive clown has dominance in the territory. If this still doesn't work it may be time to permanently separate or get rid of one.

Well right now they are in a 20 gallon holding. Should be in the 70 by the end of the week. I have put one in a specimen container inside the tank to see how that goes.

i bought two orange clowns at the same time and put them into my 30gl tank. one started doing that seizure right next to the other. they never seem to fight, one is bigger than the other and once in a while i notice doing his seizure. those bw nemos seems to be very agresive along with the red ones. you might want to keep and eye and seperate them or remove one.
