Clownfish ID help

Saw some nice clowns in my LFS. They are listed as Picasso but their coloration looks unusual to me. More tan and yellowish than orange. I don't know if its because they are young and their color will change as they mature of if they maybe a variation of a clarki. Any ideas?

Ha! Listed as percs? Time for a new LFS.

Owner was not in or I would have checked with him, usually a very good store. only LFS I know of that have multiple quarantine systems and hospital tanks and will treat any fish you have bought from them free of charge for up to a year and replace it if it does not survive.

I'm going to do a little research on them, they are beautiful fish. I may buy a pair for my tank if not too aggressive. Especially at the price.$14.99
They will be the last fish joining a bicolor Blenny a yellow watchman pistol shrimp pair a chalk bass, a Royal Gramma and a Flasher Wrasse in a 60 gallon cube. Do you think there will be issues with them?

Bali Aquarich markets its designer clarkii clowns as Picasso. Google Picasso Clarkii and you will see what I mean. So I don't think your LFS is necessarily labeling them to suggest they are A. Percula Picasso clowns but rather the pattern…which of course led to this confusion. I wouldn't be too harsh on your LFS because the clowns are in good shape based on the photos. I would rather shop at the store that mislabels their fish but keeps them healthy than a store that correctly describes the clowns but they are sick. Good luck :)
