I did not notice until a couple of hours coming home from work today; my clownfish (of a pair) was missing in action. I thought to myself, "Okay, he must be in the overflow". He had done this at another time. Well, he was not in the overflow like I suspected. I then looked in the sump and there he was near the drain just swimming around. I turned off the pumps and scooted him into a clear glass cup and emptied him into the display. After a few minutes adjusting, he is happily swimming with his mate. This is amazing to me because he would had to swam into the overflow, got sucked up into the Durso drain pipe, swished down through the plumbing with two 90 degree elbows, and out into the sump. I hoped he enjoyed the water ride.
Has anyone ever experienced this of their fish?
