Clownfish QT question

So I am picking up 2 SA fancy snowflakes tomorrow, can I get sme help on how. You guys treat them vs other fish

A couple of questions

Well. I am ion the bandwagon now. I have read tons of stuff online.

So, couple of questions.
1 do any of you start off with a Lower salinity?
2 do any dip the fish before putting it in the QT? If so what and how?
3. Do you start any other treatments at all once you put them in? Or just wait to see what happens en react?

Treat them the same as any other fish addition. Read the stickys in the beginner forums and there should be one for acclimating fish.

For me I now acclimate all my fish in Hypo after adjusting them to the lower salinity level. Hypo acclimation prevents putting a fish with hiding ich into your DT. That is just what I do though and many prefer to just watch the fish for signs of these diseases instead of treating them for them before hand. With clowns in general they are not as ich prone as fish such as Tangs (clowns have a thicker mucous coating)

What about dipping before placing in QT?
