hi all..i bought two clowns about 48hrs ago and when i woke up in the morning they seemed to be dead. one was suctioned to the filter intake (which is not strong) and the other was between a magnetic cleaner and the wall. the weird thing is that when i turned on the lights they just came back to life and started swimming. is this normal? also they will not swim in the front of the tank and just stay in a back corner all day. what is the reason for this?

Give them some time to come around and get adjusted to your setup (I think). Let's see what others say...

mine floats upside down in the corner of my tank at night while it is sleeping...funny little guy, healthy and happy when the lights come on!

I have a perc that sleeps near the surface, looks like it's floating on it's side. Had more than one person tell me my fish is dead. It got sucked through the overflow one time but I was able to rescue it. If it is very small and could possibly fit through the slits (didn't think mine could) it may be wise to cover it with screening of some kind.
