Clownfish spawning life

Hi was wondering if anyone can help. I have a pair of 6 year old percs and they have bred for most of that time.
The female has lately became quite pinched in behind the pectorals although she still eats normally. The male is fine as normal.

I've been through all the normal reasons for a thin fish and have ruled then out so far. so what i'm now considering is whether because of the constant energy of producing eggs over this time, whether she has just reached that time. I know clowns have a lot longer life expectancy than that in the wild but was wondering if this is speeded up in a tank, where they don't have to make their way through the ranks to the top, so to speak.

I'm trying everything to keep her going but just had that thought in the back of my head and didn't know whether it was nonesense or not?

Thanks in advance.

how sure how helpful this is but my ocellaris pairs is about 10 years old and still spawning frequently, haven't seen any signs of what you are speaking of. sounds like it could be something else. Have you changed anything? diet, salt, water changes, anything???

Thanks. I think i'm possibly clutching at straws and there is a simpler explanation that i've ruled out. Diet is the same if not improved since it looked thin, it is still an active feeder but i did notice stringy white poo for the first time today so if that continues i think i might be able to find the cause easier.
Everything else is the same as it has been for years now, nothing has been added to the tank which has made me rule out most diseases, i suppose it could be due to a tumour or growth but i'm kinda hoping it isn't.
Guess i'll see how it is tomorrow.
