clowns and hosting

How long before you know your clowns wont host in a certain coral? I want them to host in my frogspawn but they haven't yet and am considering getting an anenome for them. I know THEY don't need it but I want them to host in something.

I would highly recommend that you get an anenome for your Clowns because that is exactly why I bought a new Bubble Tip Anenome because the two Perculas I have were swimming in my Hammer Coral and it didn't like it and the head of the Hammer that they stayed in ended up dieing.

My Frog Spawn that they didn't swim into and all the other corals I have are doing great.


Thank goodness they have already took to the Bubble Tip even though I only bought him yesterday.
