clowns and ich

I have heard that is it difficult for them to come down with it, but that beind said mine got it.

incorrect

and i've read of two species reported to be intolerant of copper, a. bicinctus and a. ephippium.

haven't kept either however over the years i've used copper (aquarium systems sea cure) to treat ick outbreaks on a. frenatus, a. polymnus and p. biaculeatus.

That is completely false. Clownfish have a softer skin like tangs and soft skin is a like a flashing sign for ich. So if there is Ich in the tank be ready for it being on the clown. They will not introduce it in the aquarium easily if thats the question. Also marc price the Allardi Clowns are very sensitive to copper . ( Close cousin of the bicinctus)
