clowns and shells

dreams

at the moment, i am limited in space and have 3 anemones in my tank (forget the name, but they are the $5 kind :-)).....anyways, i was reading that the clownfish will (at times) host a large shell....does anyone know the size shell i should put in the tank...clang is about an inch long & is a percula

clang will eventually be moved to a 110g and then, i can get an anemone for him/her

I have clowns that have hosted in my conch shell i have in the tank i got from Taiwan. The diameter of the shell is about 2.5 inches and about 3 inches deep. They love it in there.

You can also use terra cotta pots (small enough for them to feel protected in it) or PVC elbow pipes. They are pretty easy to keep happy enough to breed with PVC or terra cotta homes.
