clowns harrasing anemone

i finally re-arranged my tank and got my huge, beautiful pink bta out from behind a rock for the third time. this morning i woke up and it has gone into hiding again. the clowns where dive bombing it and doing more than hosting. they only are this "aggressive" with their hosting behavior with this anemone. i have another and they host it but normally. does anybody have any insight as to why they would be more attracted to one kind of anemoe? also, is there a way to get the clowns to relax? (other than massages)

They would be more attracted to their natural host for sure. They are likely ****ed because it keeps moving thus moving their territory. They will settle down once they get used to the new area.

What kinda clowns? My female Clarki tortures my Nem. But it is big enough to take the abuse. BTA's hate flow. So if you put a bunch of flow across the back it "should" move to the front. At least in my experience.

My female Clarki is 8 years old and still hasn't relaxed....

thanks for the replies. the anemone has retracted itself into the rock again and stayed there. when fully expanded it is definitley capable of hosting the two clowns. (true percs) but they never give it a chance to settle in. they just keep pushing it with their noses until it runs off and hides.
