I got a bubble tipped anenome for my two clowns. Both clown got ich and died. Could the anenome have carried ich into my tank. Should I treat the anenome for ich.

How long have you had the anemone? Ys they can transport ick in the bag with them. But they don't actually have ick. And no you can't treat it for ick per say. Anything wet should be quarintined before put in your display. Dpending on how long it took from the time you got the new bta to when the fish dies it could be something else.

I had the anemone and fish about 1 week before they got ich. They were in my 30 gallon tank. I want to move the anemone into the other tank. I have a 100 gallon tank 25 gallon sump uv light, pro skimmer, 150 W MH 6 moon lights, with 100lb LR and 100 LS with around 30 turbo snails and 30 blue legged crabs. 8 emeral crabs, 1 yellow tang, 1 gold strip clown, 4 green chromis. 1 yellow watchman and pistol shrimp. I guess I need to keep the anemone in the 30 gallon, and leave it empty for several weeks. Any suggestions.

So you got the clowns and the anemone at the same time? OR within a week of each other and then after the one week you had them the clowns got ich, right? You now want to move the anemone into the larger tank? That would not be a good idea until at least 4-6 weeks have gone by so the ich in the now fishless tank will have died by then. After that 4-6 weeks you can then move the anemone into the larger tank with no issues.

I got them all together at the same time. But they came from different tanks. Both fish have die. It is just the anemone and 30 lbs of LR and sand. I thought the tank fishless for 2 weeks would kill the ich.
