Clowns ignoring anemone?

I got a new RBTA yesterday, and the 2 clowns I have, haven't noticed it is there, and haven't touched it. Is this normal?? They are tank-bred clowns, does that matter??

that is normal, clowns will host what/when they want to. being tank bred has nothing to do with it. If the clowns have a favorite spot they hang out in, you can try to move the BTA closer to there and see if that helps

It is not unusual for clowns to ignore the anemone at first. It would be best to leave the anemone where it wants to be and just let the clownfish get use to it. Also try to feed near the anemone which may entice the fish to go near the anemone as well as providing some food for the anemone.

I have had clowns host immediately (literally within minutes) and others that prefer their powerhead until they get acquainted. Dont give up hope!
