i have two each, true and false perks. the false have already laid eggs once. the true's are to small (1.5") to reproduce. can i put all four in a 70G tank? i have one P.B.T.A. thats about 8"-9", the false already host. will they coincide in a tank this size? thanx, have a great wekend!

I don't recommend it. They can be territorial, even in that size tank. You could probably get away with 4 occellaris (the false percs) since they tend to be more timid, but even I would try that in my own tank. If you already have a pair of occellaris already hosting and laying eggs, I'd stick with them, I like them better than percula's anyways, they just seem cooler.

If you do decide to try, just watch em carefully for negative attitudes towards each other. If one set tries to host in the middle of the tank, I would do some rearranging and try to get each pair to live on opposite ends of the tank. Not the easiest thing to orchestrate I might add.

If they were all placed in together during the initial purchase and developed their own territories then you may not have trouble, however being the pair is laying eggs and has had this entire footprint to call their own, I can almost guarantee problems.

It's best not to take chances when the odds are so stacked against you.

OH! the false already host in the middle, the trues are the only fish in my 25G. so, ill fallow your advice and keep em that way. im getting them (true) their own R.B.T.A., i have one ordered for Tue. delivery. Thanx for the advice, have a beautiful weekend.
