Clowns in FOWLR

I have a 180 gallon with 180 live rock and was wondering if I would be ok putting a pair of Maroon clowns in the tank.

I would think I could add an Anemone or two because I have the lighting...

I currently have about a 2 month old tank...
with a
2.5 inch dog face puffer
1.5- 2 inch Harliquin Tusk
2 inch Coral Beauty Angel
I wanted to add 2 small maroon clowns
and plan to add either and Emperor or Annularis Angels (JUNV) in a month or two...

I do not plan to have any other fish in the tank other that what is listed above...

I was wondering if the clowns would be ok and survive and when I should add them?

Thanks!

Might be a little early for an anemone and I wouldn't do it if you are planning on adding Pomacanthus Angels as they have a tendancy to pick at the anemone's oral disk. The puffer might also pick at the tentacles.
What type of lighting do you have?

you set it up as a FOWLR so keep it a FOWLR. upgrades are a pain in my book and full of troubles.

clowns dont need anemones to be happy theyll find a cave or a coral in the tank to host. plus your tanks not mature enough to support a anemone.

ok, thanks! I wasnt planning on adding the clowns for another month or two...
as far as lighting, I bought the stand off a guy who had a reef setup before...so I think the lighting is good, I even have a CA reactor... but decided FOWLR because I like the Angels and wanted a Dog Face Puffer... plus I love the H Tusk

I'd stick with FOWLR for now. You have the fish you love in there, so why complicate things for you and your fish? If you absolutely want to change it to a reef tank, of course my preferred method would be to sell the system you have and build one that has everything you need and want to keep what you want, but that may not be an option, so make sure you've got everything set up correctly and running well before adding corals.

And, as always, wait at least 9 months before adding an anemone to your tank.

Thank you I did not now that about the anemone...
also I was not planning to add any corals just an anemone for the clowns if I got them, but I am seeing and hearing that they do not have to have one.

Thanks!
