Clowns not eating

I have 3 sets of clowns. My last thread was for the largest. This set is a breeding pair(hasn't spawned since June... wasn't feeding them enough frozen food after). So I've resumed feeding, and I have some fresh goop as I call it. Shrimp, calamari, fish, all done up in the blender with some selcon and garlic added. The fish aren't taking it. They usually eat their pellets, but they have stopped chasing that. I'm not medicating them. All the seafood is fresh, and was just frozen. My other clowns tear this food up. The only that that is high is my nitrate, but that's usually like that because Its a FO tank. I just do 50% water changes on a weekly basis to keep those reasonable.

I would suspect the nitrate might be suppressing their appetites. Do you find that the nitrate is lower in the tanks where the clowns have a more eager appetite?

It's usually about the same because the tanks are identical.. same filter, same media, same number of fish, same amount of food given, same decor, etc.
