Clowns not interested in Anemone

Captive bred don't want to naturally host because they've never seen it or were raised with a nem. .........

This has nothing to do with it. It has more to do with BTAs not being their natural host. Wild caught ocellaris and percs can take a long time (if ever) to accept BTAs as well. I had a wild caught pair that was in a tank with a large BTA that took up 1/3 of the tank. It took them 3 years to accept it. Once they did, they never left it.

I guess the good news is, for the next 15 years I could swap out BTAs and they would accept them immediately. If you take good care of your clowns, they will live 20 years or more.

I bought a Maroon clown... he was hanging in the corner. A week later, picked up a BTA... put it in. For a week, clown still chilled in corner. Day 8, I come in, he is hovering above BTA. Day nine, I come in, he is diving headfirst in and out of BTA. It's awesome.
