Clowns with Black Spots, is it ich or not?

This is the best image I have right now, I'll load a new one when I get home today.

They both have had some black spots on them, it seems they get worse and worse.

The female has more than the male. They are different sizes. I read about ich, and they don't seem to be 'worms' or moving.

There is no natural host, and they don't seem to host anything. nothing in the tank that is stinging. Here is a pic of the tank they are in:

Tank is Biocube 29 gal
other tank mates are 1 six line wrasse, (just added 2 days ago)
snails/crabs/2 fromia starfish

corals are candy cane, small hammer, orange sponge (i think) , and star polyps

water params are
nitrite <5
nitrate 10
ammonia 0
ph 8.0

Could this be some other parasite?? They are both eating GREAT like crazy. anything i put in there they gobble up. Currently feeding pellets, algae flakes, and Rod's food on alternating days

Hard to say without a close-up picture, but it sure doesn't look like Cryptocaryon to me - I'd say it is a Turbellarian, (Paravortex or related species) but then, I can't remember seeing many clownfish get that.

thanks... i know the pics are not very good. i need to get into photoshop and zoom in with better quality tonight. will post better pics tomorrow. the spots multiply, i dont see any problems otherwise on fish, they do well , breath normally, eat great.

Okay new pics. Please post your thoughts now. I am very unfamiliar with other parasites/diseases. I hear alot about ich, but if its not that what else could it be??

yes looks like black ich, id prefer a freshwater dip for them of the same ph and temperature as their main tank or a medication that is formalin based in a hospital tank

black ich is not the same as normal marine ich or cryptocaryon, it is a trematode parasite unlike normal marine ich which is a protozoan parasite

Okay -going off the feedback that it is black ich, put in QT tank with kich ich....
and the female was breathing rapidly swimming on side... for 2 days.

removed from QT and put back in regular tank and hubby did a 15 gal water change out of a 29 gal tank.

female is doing better still has black spots but is much happier.

I'm not convinced this is ich.

Hubby showed LFS people pics and they are thinking that something in the tank is causing spots from being stung or irritated.

Thoughts? Agreement or any other ideas appreciated

kick ich won't help black ich..I don't think..different illness. Secondly 2 days in a QT is no where near sufficient treatment..

yes, i understand that 2 days is not the length of treatment.
more like 4-6 atleast.

however in regular tank fish is happy, swimming normal, eating normal.

in QT tank the fish is breathing rapidly and almost floating upside down.

What water did you put in QT tank? Old tank water or new water? Filter? Heater and all?

If it was new water that is the problem..could have been an overdose of kick ich?
