Clowns with ich

Hello,

I have a friend that asked me to post here that he has two maron clowns that have ich. He wanted to know what he can do to get rid of the ich

Take all of his fish out of the main display tank, put them in a hospital tank to medicate, and run the main tank without fish 6-8 weeks...

go to petsmart or something and just go look at the ich removers for saltwater and follow the intructions. if its not a huge infection and the fish seems to be doing well, cleaner shrimp, LOTS of feeding with high nutrient food dipped in selcon.

Here are a couple of links on meds and treatments. Cupramine is one of the most reliable copper treatments when administered at the right dosage and measured daily. Stay away from snake oils such as melafix and such.

I prefer to use hyposalinity over copper. There are a few stickies in the disease section that are very good reads, and I would definitely suggest them.
