Hi all! I have a pair of Rod's onyx clowns hosting in a RBTA. Recently, the clowns won't tolerate anything at all, even food, being near the rose. I usually try to feed the rose several times a week, but they won't allow anything in it lately. They constantly knock it out with their tails. Any suggestions on this? I feed a huge variety of foods, but I know the rose needs more food than what he's randomly getting in the water, I just don't know how to bypass the clowns.

Thanks!

You can try to feed the clowns and while they are occupied with their food, feed the anemone. Also if the anemone is at one end of the tank put the food for the clowns at the opposite end so they have to go over there and get it.

I'm having the same problem with a RBTA and GSM. Feeding the fish separately doesn't work for me. The only solution I've found is to cover the BTA with a fish net to keep the clown away. PITA but it works.

Where are all the sharing clowns? :D I use prime reef and I put it in the center of the anemone to grab. Once it's got a good hold I let go with the tongs and then feed the clowns.
