Club Meeting

Would you guys be interested in meeting to come up with some ideas together with the Roanoke club to keep us all going? We keep trying to do it with threads and polls and it doesn't seem to be working. I think if we had everyone in the same room throwing out ideas we could come up with something that would help us. This way nobody will be "taking over" anything and all voices will be heard. I'm sure all any of us want is for more to happen with the hobby around here. It seems to have petered out lately. This would be a very important meeting that would need some participation to work properly. We can have it in Roanoke or BB doesn't really matter. We would just need a place large enough to hold the people. I'll offer my place, but I'm afraid we wouldn't have enough BB people so I'm thinking maybe somebody down there should do it. Feel free to post thoughts here.

Disqualifies it right away because of negative connotations re: the other IRS so close to April 15.:rollface:

Seriously - I am all for a meeting and will attend if I can at all make it in, which kinda limits it to weekends. Chris's place is fine as it is very easy for out-of-towners to get to, unless, of course you want to meet at my place.

I think it's a great idea, and I too would prefer a weekend, doesn't matter if it's here in Roanoke or BB. By the way Chris the skimmer is working great, I've had to do some tuning after adding water and such. But looks good Steve
