I sent mike a message but dont even know if he can get it? my contact info for everyone is on the site. so I dont have anyone's phone# and I havnt gotten a message letting me know what is going on.

Fancy finding you guys here. Joe (snowmaker) here. I think snowmaker was taken when I registered here.
I didn't know about this space (before my time) until you guys mentioned it.
Seems it has been an odd chain of events? I honestly don't know what is going on with clubSWAM, only that my past concerns of having only 1 person responsible (and able to have admin access) for our message boards were justified.
I hope I am wrong, but it doesn't look good with the site down since maybe Tuesday, and him not contacting any of the remaining BOD.... IDK what to think...
There is nothing up for anything connected to his yourmaine.com or his 4businesshosting... SWAM or his other clients...

This may be for the best IMO, but it would be nice to get the database to someone responsible and knowledgeable enough so we don't lose it. Didn't we recently cross a big milestone regarding # of posts?
We should try to get the word out via phone or email we have for members that we can at least converse here. - Have a place like RC to meet and maybe help figure out what we're going to do.

Pretty messed up how Mike left it all up in the air like this..maybe there is a good explanation..maybe he is just being a jerk!...ha ha..anyway...my uncle does web sites for a living as well...maybe (rob) gets a chance to talk to Mike and get some of that money back to get the site back up...I am sure my uncle would do this permanently ..and cheaper than anyone else you can find..(as a favor to me).....Also..SO??? Is this where Club SWAM members are to post stuff temporarily????
.... Like..I wanted to post ..I am moving to NJ and am breaking down my 275..selling 95% of the contents(live stock)..right down to the sand and rocks...

the site is back up!!
I think everyone is/was assuming the worst. and the site just shutting down out of no where was pretty disheartening.
I am glad it wasnt anything serious! like a death or something to that nature!
and just an fyi I trust the members on the board of directors for our club
from what I was told, there were problems when the hosting company moved there servers from canada to the us (customs)
all my contact info for ppl was on the site I am assuming others had the same problem
there is allot of paperwork that we need to do so everything isnt listed in one place to prevent this from happening again
as far as where to post I would say posting here and on the club site would work. I check both sites along with a few others. in this hobby there is never something you cant learn about so posting more than one place could help more than just our club
