CO SPS frag Trading Thread Phase 2

After my 1st post, It sounds like there is some interest in developing a casual frag trading network to help insure our colonies in the case of a crash and expand the number of species in our tanks. However it seemed that a lot of the interest came from individuals with little to trade which does defeat the purpose somewhat (nothing against you). Anyway I would still like to give it a shot and start off with one or 2 groups of 3-4, 2 participants with more SPS and 1 or 2 with less SPS. Novice SPS'ers might get to pick 5 more common frags from each tanks, while advanced might get to pick from the full assortment. All Tanks should be SPS Friendly - Lights, Flow, Correct H2O parameters. Tanks should be disease free, but all participants should plan on treating corals prior to putting them in their tanks.

I am suggesting that we get a test group together and see how well it works and then report back via a thread on the subject. This is for SPS primarily. Once a group is picked the individuals could visit each of the tanks that have a large # of frags to do their fragging during one day.

If you are interested. Post the # of colonies that are ready to frag (small or big frags ok) from each class of corals, your location and years of experience with SPS. like so

SPS - 25 coloines - common to rare
LPS - 2 colonies
softies - 2 colonies
Boulder
5 years

I would love to do this but I just lost my only current sps colony to rtn. But maybe in a few months when I start stocking my 240g with colonies and frags I can get in on this insurance policy.

newbie here but very interested!

SPS - 1 - common
LPS - 1 colony (can probably generate 3-4)
softies - 3 - colonies
Boulder
3 months SPS, 1 year reef, 15 yrs freshwater

I am trying to get all of my colonies up on Frags.org so when asked about trades I don't have to remember my inventory!

SPS - 14
LPS - 11
Softies - 14
Most are common, with some rare. This is a count of the ones that I could frag at least once so that someone else has it in case of tragedy. Most are not ready to frag extensively.

Fort Collins
2 years reef, 1 year SPS

Please try and keep to the format. List corals, location and experience. If you are not ready to participate no post is necessary.

Thanks
