co2 reg repair

Anyone local repair them? Something happened and I am blowing out pressure from the side and the glass from the link pressuire guage blew out. Wondering if I need a new reg.

Agreed, check with a dive shop or gas supplier. I normally get my tanks filled at ozark gas and would check with them.

I would replace it. After Ozarc gas destroyed mine when they overfilled my co2 tank I had to replace it because I didn't want to risk another explosion in my house.

I would agree with replacing it. You can try but most dive shops are set up to rebuild and repair diving regulators and would be most likely guessing on a rebuild for regulator like that. A welding shop would be a better place to try but my guess is, for the money, the new regulator would be the better bet.

Alright, I replaced it with a Tunze regulator. In my rush to purchase it before the free 2 day shipping expired, I neglected to see it didnt have a electronic solenoid on it. So I find this solenoid. Problem is, i will now have $200 invested in a reg. For around that amount, is there a better choice?

The entire assembly? Reg and solenoid? I like this tunze as it auto vents the tank when the tank pressure gets below a certain point. Something I have heard Milwaukee and others do. Dumps remainder of co2 tank content in the tank

I love this thing. It also has a bleed/safety on it and does not have a solenoid but can be controlled as tho it did. It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it.
