CO2 Tank Fill

Anyone suggest a good place to get a co2 tank filled towards the North end of town? Is Air Gas down off 24 the place to use?

I use a welding supply place on 8th street, but any welding shop will be able to refill for you.

Thats funny I just had mine filled yesterday. I go to Colorado Welding Supply, they fill it while I wait and charge my $16 for a 10 lb bottle. They are open saturday also. They are off 8th street and hwy 24. address is 855 garner st
phone 473-7714. I called everybody and couldnt find anything on the north end. However there is a homebrew shop at vickers and academy they will swap out your tank for a filled one, it costs more and you might get an ugly tank.

General Air at the corner of Filmore and Nevada is one up north. But they do a cylinder swap though.

Another is Acme Fire on S Wasatch just south of Arvada. But thats down south and they will only fill certain times of the day.

Does Air Gas fill them? I guess I can give them a call and see...

I've also read in other places that suggested going to a paintball shop, but don't think any that would fill it would be any closer.

Yes Airgas will fill them.

I called airgas they said come on by and we'll fill it while you wait. I drove down there they said drop it off and come back in a few hours, thats why I now go to colo welding supply. Maybe I just got airgas on a bad day? who knows, i like the personal service at CWS much better than the big wal-mart like service over at airgas.

Off Garden of the Gods near I-25, I get my bottles filled there while I wait. Been going there for years, I do freshwater plant tanks as well.
