Coexistance??

I'm going to buy about 20lbs of LR on saturday this or next week. If I got 2 or more mantis' in the LR, would they be able to live with eachother in my 20g?? I only have one tank for Mantis Shrimp, and I don't want to send any away.

Really?!?, how much LR did you buy, and you said 3 mantis'? I'm going to drive to TBS some saturday so i dont ahve to pay the ridiculous shipping from fed ex. and what kind of LR did u get. Im getting Keys LR

Do you know what kind of Mantis' they were llosingit?? and about how long? Were they easy to catch or did u just put the rock theyw ere in into a different tank? I'm just curious thanks

I bought the mixed rock thats part of the package and I bought 50lbs.
They are smashers but thats all I know.
They were pretty easy to catch, I just watched the rocks for a day or two until I could see where they went.
Then I pulled the rock and squirted RO water in the hole that they went into and they shot of of there like I lit a match under their butts.
Two of them were about 2" long and one was really small, probably 1/2"

A mix eh? and what is RO. I'm a little out of it today. I've head there's a chance for them to break through your aquarium because they have such a strong hit with their Appendages. Hope it doesn't happen to me.

I assume it's reverse osmosis.

RO=reverse osmosis, but any cold water will work.
I think if you get a small Mantis you won't have to worry about it breaking the glass. The larger 6-7" are the one's you have to worry about.
