Cold water marine project ideas

I have a 100+ gallon tank at school that is chilled, I wanted to do some research with some sea stars that are being affected by the wasting syndrome in the pacific but that was too expensive, does anyone have any ideas that I can do for my project?

Garibaldi Damsels? Blue Spot Jawfish? Catalina Gobies? All of these life cold water. Not sure what you are looking for. Shouldn't you have a hypothesis before you start acquiring research subjects?

How long can the project last? What budget do you have? Is the aqurium empty? What is the temperature of the tank? Lighting?

What's the specs on the tank? If its up and running and you still want to work with sea stars and wasting I can get you ochre stars for a pretty reasonable price
