Collector's Choice?

Hello Blue Blue Zoo!

I am just wondering why there have no updates to the Collector's Choice in a while I thought that it would be updated at least a few times per week.

Thanks for the question. There actually are updates just about every day. Along with the updates, we do send out an email listing the new animals as soon as the updates are done. This is done through a separate email from the usual newsletter we send. If you like, you can go to the home page and sign up for the newsletter and click the option to receive the CC updates. If you are already a subscriber, sign up again and follow the instructions on how to sign up for multiple emails.

If you have any problems doing this, let us know. Hope that helps.

I guess what I meant was the fish section. It seems that there have not been any new species added lately.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. You are correct. Much focus has been on coral lately because of all the amazing specimens we have been getting. Some of the coral is just totally unreal. Fish and some inverts will always be a part of our Collector's Choice WYSIWYG department but the main focus will always be on the coral. What type of stuff were you looking for exactly?

I have had my eye out for several of the harder to find Liopropoma Basslets and a few other things.

Very cool fish. And you are correct in assuming they would show up on Collector's Choice. We have very few skews for Liopropoma compared to how many exist so any odd balls will be sold as WYSIWYG.

Well, sign up to get those CC emails and soon enough we'll have more fish being listed. I expect once we are out of the slow season the selection of odd ball animals in general will pick up dramatically.
