I have what appears to be a translucent white tunicate ( I say that because it has long tubes) In several areas in my 30 gal tank. can someone please ID this for me. I would like to know more about it, whatever it is. thanks.
Looks like a sponge to me. I have several colonies of tunicates none of which look like that. I do have sponges that are blue, grey, and white similar to those. They filter feeders, nothing to worry about.
Yeah I have the exact same thing except they are growing underneath a ledge out of the light. Same tube like structures it is a type of sponge they don't respond to touch like tunicates would.
