Colony on its side

I purchased a nice ausie acro colony from divers den and it's been in my tank for almost a week. It doesn't have a base or plug so I have had it on my rock in its side to acclimate since I got it. It looks like it is doing well with some real good polyp extension. I am going out of town on Tuesday for a week and was going to mount it somewhere in my tank. I am worried though that I won't be around to observe it and the person watching my tank won't know if something is wrong. Am I better off just leaving it as is for the extra week and mounting it when I get back?

Good question!
The anal, impatient, 'I want it the way I want it, now" part of me says mount it now...
But..... you are probably better off just leaving it alone until you can keep an eye on it..
Unless the location you have it in, in the sump, has sup par lighting and or flow..
