Color fading on my mushrooms

I've done a search and not really found a reason why my mushrooms fade in color. I have a 5.5 gallon mushroom only tank that has two 28 watt PC lights. From what I've read this should be plenty of light them. I do weekly water changes and have always had good water parameters.

Here's my problem, The color of the mushrooms fades. The reds ones aren't as red anymore. The green pinwheels lost a lot of their stripe. The blues aren't even blue anymore. Is this a trace element problem? Should I feed something to the tank?

I can't edit for a hour so I'll reply. The PC lights are 50/50.

Are the lights getting old?

The lights are about 6 months old.

have you done anything different lately? changed to different salt mix or dose something different?

Nothing at all. I've always used Instant Ocean and R/O water. Same lights. I think MH lights would be to intense for mushrooms. Maybe I should feed them something?

pc bulbs go bad in 6-9 months.that fixture you have has no fan in it so at 6 months i bet the bulbs are readdy to be replaced.for the cheap cost of pc bulbs that size,i'd change it and see.
