Anyone have any input on what would cause loss of colors/splotchiness in zoas? It's not affecting all of my stock, but a couple are having problems. My Eagle Eyes have mostly lost their outer purple ring, and my Gatorades just have white patches on the disk. They're still growing, but the new polyps have similarly missing colors.
All of the tank parameters are stable and well within acceptable range, lighting is significantly more than enough (High Output LED's + lenses), and my lighting cycle is 8-10 hours a day. I was dosing Kent Marine Nano 2-part, and recently switched to daily dosing C-Balance A/B.
Any ideas on helping them color back up, or will it just take time?
Just for informations, I also have Aquaman Blues, Purple Hornets, Oompa Loompas, something that was sold to me as Reverse Space Monsters, and Red People Eaters. All of them have kept their colors and been growing just fine.
