Color more dull than anticipated.

I rec'd an anemone from the DD a week ago. I thought maybe it'd color up like in your pic, but it hasn't. I am pretty disappointed in the coloration of the nem in my tank... I have 10k light (14k megachrome coral bulb on PFO HQI ballast) and actinic supplementation. . .

All of the other DD stuff I've gotten has been true to color for me including a blue open brain and green elegance. I am wondering what might be the problem with the dullness of this nem. Can someone contact me?

Thank you for your post. We apologize for your dissatisfaction with the coloration for the Rose Bubble Tip Anemone. The lighting in our Aquacultured Coral and Marine Life facility is 400 watt Ice Cap Metal Halides, which may account for any color variations you are experiencing. There also might be a difference in how high in your aquarium this anemone is compared to how it was housed in our facility.

You have 10k spectrum with a 14k megachrome bulb + actinics? How does that work?

Well, the 14k megachrome was measured by Sanjay as a little above 10k on my ballast.

I am not taking into account the actinic. I have no idea what they change the spectrum to.
