color rendition suxxxx please help

I am using two blue actinics along with 2 250 watt 10,000K MH for a 120 gallon tank. The issue is the light just simply looks to white. I have a flourescent favia that looks pale and the other critters just look too sterile compared to what I see at the LFS and others tanks.

What am I doing wrong with the lighting??

What kind of actinics, VHO, T5, etc. I have found huge variations in MH light color 10000k is not always really 10000k.

I use URI VHO super actinics as well. I did recently get a bulb listed as such which was more like their actinic white ( misslabeled). The best color 250w MH bulb in my opinion was the Venture 10k's which came with my fixtures. So far I've tried Coralvue 10k which were yellow, and currently I'm using Blueline 14k which seem to be a little more blue than I prefer, I run these without actinics.
