Colored Formica sheets?

Cost depends on what you get, plain smooth white is much less expensive than a rich looking slate texture...
I don't know which big boxes you have but here Menards, HD, and Lowes all have limited inventories, contratcor supply houses should have a large selection of textures and colors. I think you called the wrong cabinet shops because they should all be able to order it for you... Possibly the ones you called won't sell to the general public too...

I don't need anything fancy....just a solid color to wrap a DIY stand with (still in the design process). I know they have some kitchen/tiles warehouse supply stores about 10 miles from me. I will take a drive down there to see if they carry them......will probably be much cheaper then Lowes or HD. Thanks for the info guys.

Went by Lowes and they only carry the "granite" colors for $44 per sheet. I'll try Home Depot later this evening. I also found a local kitchen cabinet/counter top maker that sells them for $65 a sheet but I would have to order it. Maybe HD or Lowes can also order me a specific color......if I can find anyone there to assist me with an order
