Colt in distress

I made too sudden of a change in my bulbs and my colt is not liking it. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Here is a pic of the poor thing. It used to be 10-12" tall before.

My colt is also not doing to well. I don't think mine's from excessive lighting though. Do you have a glass top on the tank??

Its been that way for 2 weeks now, i changed my lighting back to the original in the hope that it would straighten up. So far no luck.

I was just doing a water change and had a thought. My colt always like that while doing a water change ... The only 2 things I can think that are different (before I pour the water back in) is the lighting and the flow. So could it be a change in flow? Maybe one of your pumps is clogged and producing less ... Just a thought.

Just an update, the coral is still shrinking. No parts are falling off and no slime. I'm just wondering if i should wait it out longer or remove it? Anybody have any experiences like this?

My colt coral is not doing so well either. I started fragging it about 3 weeks ago and in the last week it shrunk down. It has a little damage to the botton where it got stuck between two rocks. I took it out from the rocks, though. It was about 10 inches tall and now it only stands about 4 inches. Is it dead? nothing is falling off or sliming off.

Final update...came home 2 days ago and a section had started to tear off. I scooped it out and tossed it in a waiting bucket. The smell was horrible!! ended up bleaching the bucket!!
