Unfortunately, I came completely unprepared to receive memberships to last nights meeting. If you joined last night and paid me with cash, please contact me via PM or email with your name and information.

Also, I know we had everyone fill out paperwork at the Jan meeting, but if you have not already done so and are an "old" member, please contact either myself or Tonya by PM or e-mail.

We are attempting to build a COMAS directory; we are also attempting to get name tags for everyone. This is good in the fact that many of our corporate sponsors will offer special deals for COMAS members, but they have to have proof that you are a member. Some have asked for a list, some will accept a name badge. Regardless, you are possibly missing out on a 10%-25% savings on your local purchases by not letting us know.

Please don't assume that just because you have been a member for 12 years, that we will have your information. We don't. Please take the time right now to get it to us.

Im unsure what you mean by COMAS directory? Would this be something that is distributed to all members, or something that is only viewed by the LT... ? what exactly do you need- phone number and email, or address as well?

We are hoping specifically for names, e-mail addresses, and COMAS / Reef Central monikers.

Home addresses would also be nice, as are telephone numbers, but I know people are sometimes worried about giving those out, so if that is a concern, please do not include them.

We are attempting to get 2012 name badges out to all current members, so that they can be shown at our local fish stores, to allow for whatever discounts may be offered, but also so that those same stores know that COMAS is supporting them, just as they are supporting COMAS.

We are also attempting to get a list together, so that if there is an emergency cancellation, members can be immediately reached to prevent long drives, etc.

The list will not be distributed to membership, and due to the negative reactions I have so far received, neither will it be distributed to any other organization, such as the LFS.
