I love eels! There, I said it.
I have a 125 gal long, with a zebra eel. I have always wanted a G. milarius (commonly known as a goldentail moray), golden morph. Also called a banana eel cuz it is yellow with occas. brown spots, looks like banana. Its pretty rare, and kind of pricey, so i just keep looking for a good deal. (liveaquaria has one for $500, but I have seen better prices)
Anyway, this eel is .
I don't want to put the banana or zebra in my 75 g, at least at this moment, as I have a white ribbon eel that is very small and took a beating from a snowflake that I had in the tank. I removed the snowflake and gave it away, white eel recovered just fine, but I learned my lesson. Also, the 75 is probably too small for the zebra, banana or snowflake for that matter.
Does anyone have an idea as to whether a goldentail moray would work ok with a zebra eel in a 125?
